Admissions for September 2027 to Canon Slade School

The governors, as the admissions authority for Canon Slade School have reviewed the school’s admissions policy and intend to introduce changes to the oversubscription criteria for Year 7 admissions in September 2027, to give some recognition to children attending C of E primary schools that are part of the Bishop Fraser Trust and children attending any other C of E primary schools.

Key proposed change: 

• A reordering of our oversubscription criteria, to include the following, Point 6. children from C of E primary schools in the Bishop Fraser Trust. Point 7. children from other C of E primary schools.

The consultation period for these changes will begin the week of 10 November 2025 and will conclude on 5 January 2026. You can view the updated admissions policy and further details below.
