Ruth Wright, who is now completing a graduate programme of training with the 2 Sisters Food Group, has been awarded the Young Scientist of the Year prize from the IFST(Institute of Food Science and Technology). Her work was titled “A Study Into The Reduction Of Bones In Boneless Chicken Breast Fillet“.

Ruth left Canon Slade after A levels (including Food Technology in which she was gained an A*) and went to Leeds university to study Food Science and Nutrition. She was awarded a first class degree.Ruth is enjoying her graduate scheme and will shortly be moving to Nottingham for her next placement.We would like to congratulate Ruth on her achievement and wish her every success in her future career.
