The Medsoc group were delighted to welcome Dr Simone Wilkins to give a talk about her career and current role as a doctor. Simone is a paediatric oncology consultant, working in Leeds. She explained how and why she became a doctor. The group were able to ask questions which were answered very honestly.

They agreed that her role sounded very challenging, but very rewarding.

Thanks to Charlotte Leaky in year 12 for arranging this talk and to Simone for sparing time from her very busy schedule to share with us a little bit of her every day life, She was very inspirational!
