Martin Birchall, Managing Director of High Fliers Research

Evening Lecture Invitation for years 10 to 13

Monday 12 June 2017 at 7pm

Dear Head Teacher & Colleagues

As there are still a few places available we are writing to reiterate our earlier invitation to you and your students to our careers lecture ‘University & Beyond: Understanding the Graduate Job Market’ on Monday 12 June at 7 p.m.

The lecture will be given by Martin Birchall, Managing Director of High Fliers Research. Martin has been researching graduate recruitment at the UK’s leading universities for the last twenty years and is also the editor of The Times Top 100 Graduate Employers, the annual guide to the country’s most prestigious and sought-after graduate employers.

With record numbers of school leavers going on to university, the competition in the graduate job market is now fiercer than ever. He will talk about how pupils can make the most of their university experience and what they can do now to prepare for graduate employment.

The lecture will take place in the Arts Centre, Main Hall at 7 p.m. and will last about one hour. Parking will be available in Dobson Road car park.

Your students and parent(s) will be very welcome to attend the lecture, although pupils may attend without a parent if they wish. It would be helpful if attendees could email to indicate numbers for refreshments which will be available from 6.30pm (deadline 5 June).

Yours sincerely

Mr M Harrison
Head of Careers Boys’ Division

Mrs EA Lowe
