‘We are of the firm belief that your personal development is as important as the academic qualifications you will gain’
Dear prospective student,
We offer some 34 subjects at ‘A’ level coupled with BTEC Extended Diplomas in Sport and Performing Arts and attract students from a very wide geographical area across the North West.
It is our belief that your learning journey with us is not simply about achieving a set of excellent exam results; that said we will do our utmost to ensure that you reach your full potential and that you are supported academically and pastorally by a very strong, committed and experienced team of professionals. Moreover life in our Sixth Form seeks to provide you with an opportunity for personal development, enrichment and a wealth of varied extra-curricular activities, from partaking in Sport, Music or Drama to running your own Society or fundraising for charity.
Whether your goal be university, employment, training or an apprenticeship, we recognise that everyone is an individual with talents and ambitions to be celebrated and realised and it is our personalised, caring and nurturing approach which will enable you to succeed and for which we are renowned.
I look forward to welcoming you to our open evening held in the Autumn Term prior to admission, where you will be able to meet colleagues and current students. Please spend some time navigating our electronic prospectus, which provides you with a flavour of what Canon Slade Sixth Form has to offer. If you have any queries, please do not hesitate to get in touch. I look forward to meeting you in due course.
With my very best wishes to you,
Director of Sixth Form, Assistant Headteacher
