We hope you will find it a useful resource to support learning. Reading is an essential ingredient to learning and at Canon Slade we want to develop a love for reading with the entire Canon Slade family, students, staff, parents and governors.
We also hope you will use this website to find resources, access our web links for research or explore teenage fiction with our links to author websites and book trailers. Canon Slade Library has approximately 15,000 resources, we have a range of texts which include fiction, information (non-fiction) graphic (graffix) novels, newspapers, magazines, online resources, web links, audio books and DVDs. Students can access any of these during opening times.
In addition to our vast range of texts we have computers and laptops for students to use. We also welcome students to enjoy our library during break and lunch times when students can use a computer, read a book, enter our competitions or join our variety of clubs.
We welcome feedback so please feel free to comment on the content of the site or even call into the library and speak to a member of staff. The library is open Monday to Friday 8.40 a.m. – 4.00 p.m.
