We have just had a glorious week of weather at Canon Slade, made even more perfect by our year 10 GCSE food students producing fantastic chilled desserts.
There are 3 groups of year 10 students studying food this year making a total of nearly 50 students. Each of the 3 groups had its own competition with a judging panel of different staff. The prize for the winner in each group was a recipe book.
- Group 1 winner- Lucie Tomlinson-Naylor with a lemon cheesecake in a glass.
- Group 2 winner-Jacob Berry with a Scottish chocolate dessert
- Group 3 winner-Oliver Porteous with a salted caramel mousse.
So fantastic to see such amazing work this year! Every single student got votes! Well done to all.
Fantastic looking and tasting desserts. I would have been happy to pay for all of them. Thanks to all the year 10s for all their effort and energy in making them.
