Fleetwood experience a positive one!

Well done and thanks to everyone who was involved in our friendly match at Fleetwood Town F.C. on Wednesday 1st March. Despite a defeat the object of the exercise was for Mr Mason to look at a number of new players and tactics. Our manager has come back from the game in a positive frame of mind and feels that it has helped him enormously with his planning for next season. The game also provided an enjoyable experience for our players who were able to challenge themselves at academy level on a superb playing surface.

Please keep an eye on this page for future training and match updates!

Best wishes

Bolton v Salford

Saturday 25th March 2017

Kick off 10.30am at the following venue:

Broughton Playing Fields

Lower Broughton Road

Salford

M7 2HR

This Saturday we play our home league fixture with Salford. Unfortunately the pitches at Canon Slade are still unfit for play so we have agreed to switch the game to Salford’s better facilities.

Mr Harrison-Scott will be in touch with squad details and all players should report to the game in full school uniform by 9.30am.

The last time we played Salford we went down 3-1 in a relatively tight game so we will be looking for a reversal of fortune and three points from this encounter. Refreshments will be on sale at the pitch-side clubhouse on the day.

Best wishes

This weekend we make a trip over the pennines to face Leeds. This game has been scheduled to help us to prepare for our final league fixture against Salford and our impending Woodhead Cup final (25th April at Hyde United F.C. with a 7pm kick off).

Mr Watson will be in touch regarding squad selection but all players should report to the venue in full school uniform as usual.

Best wishes

Mr Jackson
