In lesson time, the GCSE Food groups produced a range of individual cold dessert. These had to be beautifully presented and taste delicious. Various staff volunteered to be tasters and to vote for the desserts that they would pay for if available in a restaurant.

Students only had 30 mins to produce their desserts. This is a very good practice for the GCSE practical.

Both winners received a recipe book as a prize.

Congratulations to all who took part. Staff were very complimentary about the high standards of the desserts produced by all the students, and as you can see from the photos they looked magnificent!
