Microsoft Teams will allow us to continue to offer students a high-quality learning experience through an online platform should we find ourselves in the unfortunate position of having students unable to attend school due to the current Coronavirus epidemic.
Although Microsoft Teams is new to us, we are working rapidly to ensure that teachers are comfortable using the new system to deliver online learning and hope that you will support us in making the transition to this new platform as quickly as possible by encouraging your child to follow their normal timetabled lessons wherever possible.
A video guide to help students get started has been created and is now available at https://youtu.be/3yQSuOipyK8.
This guide will help your child understand how to access and use Microsoft Teams online. The system itself is very intuitive and easy to learn.
Whilst we have engaged all staff in training and are helping them prepare to deliver remote learning, we recognise that there may be some unexpected and unforeseen challenges as we begin. In such instances, we ask for your patience and understanding and encourage you to contact us so that we may address any issues to ensure the provision delivers the curriculum in an informative, coherent and professional manner.
On the following pages, you will find an outline of our remote learning strategy as well as details on how to begin using Microsoft Teams.
