Dear Students

We do hope you are keeping safe and that staying at home for the good of the nation is allowing you to learn new skills and practice existing ones.

I wanted to write to you to update you on the progress of your application and how the closure of schools and cancellation of examinations has affected it. I can confirm that you hold a conditional place for the subjects discussed at enrolment and a letter will follow in the coming weeks to confirm the specific subjects making up that offer. If you have any changes to these just notify us as they occur.

We are currently reviewing our enrolment process in light of the cancellation to examinations this year and will be updating all students, who hold a conditional place, over the coming months as more information from the Department for Education and Ofqual becomes available.

We do not want any student to be disadvantaged due to the circumstances they now find themselves in. As such we are ensuring we make considered and reasonable decisions rather than implementing a reactionary strategy to the current situation.

My advice over the next few weeks and months would be continue to review the relevant subject content for courses you want to study further and in any of those you may think you might want to sit an examination in once those arrangements are announced.

For the time being I wish you the very best in this unprecedented situation we find ourselves in.

Yours faithfully
