A very successful chocolate tasting evening was held in school on the evening of Wednesday 28th February. Despite the snow falling, we had a good turn out from pupils and their families, staff, and outside visitors. The evening began with a quick game of stand up bingo, followed by introductions and chocolate tasting from our visiting chocolatiers, Amanda and Debbie from Creative Chocolates. Visitors indulged in samples of milk, dark and white chocolate as well as tasty white chocolate and rhubarb, lemon and poppy seed and dipped cinder toffee to name but a few. Easter products were on display and there were lots of tempting chocolates to order or purchase on the night.
Raffle prizes were plentiful and there were lots of happy winners. Thank you to CSA staff for providing refreshments and cake throughout the evening which virtually sold out. Thank you to all those who supported on the night, and to those who were unable to attend, for placing online orders. Also thank you to Mr Burton for opening the evening and drawing the raffle, and to CSA members for organising a thoroughly enjoyable event which has raised over £420 for the school.
