Canon Slade School
A warm welcome to you from all at Canon Slade.
Our new Year 7 and Year 12 students have settled in very well already and our existing students have returned with the excellent behaviour and work ethic we expect
Last year’s Year 11 achieved outstanding GCSE exam results with 90% in English and 89% in Maths at grade 4 or above and 84% achieved both English and Maths.
The other national measures have not been published yet. More than 10% of all students achieved the new A** grade 9 in Maths.
Canon Slade Sixth Form students also achieved a string of A* and A grades at A Level to secure places at top universities including Oxbridge and Russell Group universities to read subjects such as English, Maths, Dentistry, Law, Engineering and many others.
Students wishing to join our outstanding Sixth Form must contact Dr Eves urgently at school.
Our Open Evening for Year 6 children and families is on Wednesday 27th September.
Gold Duke of Edinburgh students have successfully completed their expedition so will be going to Lambeth Palace to collect their awards. We have school trips planned to Paris, Berlin, Italy, India and the Wimbledon Tennis Championship.
Please contact us if we can help you in any way and thank you for your interest in our school,
Mr D Burton MChem (Oxon.) PGCE NPQH
